K.Kess biography

K.Kess is a professional open-format DJ and photographer based out of New York City. He is a first generation American of Ghanaian Heritage. He was born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts and is a graduate of Harvard University (AB '06, MBA '12, MPP '12). K.Kess takes great pride in the brand he has developed over the past decade -- a brand centered on versatility, intelligence, and professionalism (V.I.P.) His ability to navigate many musical genres and photography styles is a direct reflection of the diversity of his clientele. As a DJ, he has spun in some of the hottest clubs in NYC (Avenue, Marquee, Cielo, Gilded Lily, PHD Terrace, Space Ibizia, etc.), curated the sounds for numerous corporate clients (PepsiCo, NY Rangers, Women's Health Magazine, etc.), and has performed on the international stage (Panama & China). As a photographer, he has captured special moments for brands, models, artists, and every day individuals/families. His photography has been published in notable media outlets including the NYTimes, Boston Globe, and Forbes Magazine.
